City A.M: Ethnic diversity in the FTSE 100 leadership pipeline is slowly improving but more than half of boards remain all-white

The Green Park Leadership 10,000 shows that, for the first time in four years, the ethnic diversity of FTSE 100 firms’ leadership pipeline has increased. However, it is still far from representative of the UK’s ethnocultural demographics, according to executive search and interim management firm.

The report analyses the diversity of the top 10,000 most senior roles in the FTSE 100 by gender and ethnicity and shows that while diversity in the leadership pipeline within FTSE 100 has increased by 5%, six-in-10 (58%) main boards have no ethnic minority presence, despite the Government’s Parker Review recommending no FTSE 100 board should be exclusively white by 2021.
