Green Park will be a headline sponsor for the 30th Anniversary of National Black History Month in the UK

I am delighted to announce that Green Park will be a headline sponsor for the 30th anniversary of National Black History Month in the UK.

We are pleased to be working with Sugar Media and Marketing, who are the publishers of Black History Month magazine .www.blackhistorymonth.org.uk

This will be the central point of focus for #BHM30 and will lead the nationwide celebrations of Black History, Arts and Culture throughout the UK in this very special year. I am also delighted to announce that we are a branded sponsor and supporter of the National Black History Month Schools and Resource pack. This will be an innovative educational tool to help School’s with the teaching and awareness raising of Black History Month. The aim is to support better understanding and recognition of Black culture and heritage in the UK.

We at Green Park are passionate advocates across all strands of diversity having invested tens of thousands of hours and pounds in creating the conditions for the power of inclusion to be more attainable for progressive organisations. In our decade of moving the diversity dial we also recognise the systemic lack of investment to recognise and celebrate the contributions of the UK’s diverse and vibrant Black communities.

Black History Month is now an integral part of the UK’s much celebrated cultural diversity. Therefore it is critical for organisations and employers to understand how to make themselves more relevant to tap into the huge abundance of talent and innovation that exists. This is one of the many reasons we are believe it is important to partner with Black History Month.

This year’s special 30th anniversary magazine and website publication will look back at the birth of Black History Month in the UK from 1987 with interviews from key individuals and organisations that established this in the social and political context. It will also discuss the legacy covering different aspects of Black Politics and Grass Roots activism, in Gender, LGBTI, Young People, Arts and Culture, Fashion, Music, Education, Local Government, Civil Service, Education, Housing, The NHS and Medicine, Voluntary sector/Social enterprise, Social Care, Enterprise, Science and Technology, Law and Public Life.

I would urge you to consider joining us to be part of this year’s important celebrations across the UK. We have negotiated preferential rates for clients and partners of Green Park.

If you want to get involved as a sponsor or partner with Black History Month magazine and website please contact us or even better Ian or Abdul at BHM on 02031052161
