The Interim Assignment
As part of this transformation, they seek a Client Director who will lead and manage the key strategic partnerships with clients and business partners. This is a pivotal role in the senior commercial team with responsibility for setting the strategic framework for the business, leading the interface with the other operating divisions, as well as introducing new innovative products and services to market and managing pricing strategy. This is a commercially-focussed role with significantly P&L responsibility.

As a response to the changes in the Ofsted inspection regime as of November 2013, and in anticipation of an imminent full inspection, this London Borough is specifically looking to recruit a senior interim manager with significant expertise in Children’s Social Care. The role has two facets – one is to run the day to day operations as part of a senior management team, covering safeguarding and Quality Assurance. The other part of the role, again as part of the senior team is to prepare the Directorate for inspection. We are therefore interested to speak to candidates with a senior leadership background in children’s social care at second and third tier as there may well be further opportunities with this Authority.
Our client, a leading NHS Foundation Trust are looking to appoint an interim director of finance for a period of up to 9 months.
The interim assignment
Alongside the day to day running of the department the interim finance director will be required to upskill the current team, analyse and address the current skill gaps and work to improve their approach to technical functions such as SLR. Most importantly the organisation is going through a period of change with a recently installed board and are facing not just a high CIP target but a challenging year on year deficit.
The Interim Finance Director
Applicants must have served as a Finance Director in a provider organisation with attention being given to interims that have worked in a Foundation Trust. The successful interim finance director will have a demonstrable track record of developing underperforming teams, bringing clam to transitional environments and will have the ability to steer a Trust through a challenging financial environment.

The Interim Assignment
The interim Director of Treasury will be a dynamic individual that will help drive value by providing thoughtful, strategic leadership and financial expertise within the Treasury and Finance organisations. This position will have a wide range of responsibilities, including assisting with the capital markets, funding, credit, risk management, banking, treasury operations, payment and merchant card processing. They will need proven experience within complicated corporate treasury who has the ability to own and drive the full treasury operation.
The Interim Manager
The successful interim Director of Treasury will need to be a proven corporate treasury expert with experience in both listed and privately owned organisations, private equity exposure would also be suffice. The role will be based predominantly in Central London however may require limited travel.
An exciting opportunity to join a privately held, well established, high-street fashion retailer. The newly appointed Finance Director will take day-to-day control of the finance function and team and will work closely with all members of the management team and the senior Executive team. Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for facilitating and ensuring budgetary control, making recommendations to encourage the continuous improvement of financial performance and implementing relevant changes and/or policies within the business. The Finance Director will be encouraged to have regular dialogue with the Founder and Executive Chairman and will be expected to be present at board meetings. A qualified accountant, with a strong ‘hands-on’ work ethic and the ability to understand the detail and the ‘big picture’, you will be a proven retail professional with a track record of successful management and building of an effective finance function in a fast paced, entrepreneurial business. You must have experience of working in a fashion environment.
Exciting opportunity to join a PE backed retailer (c£250m t/o) with exciting growth plans. A main Board Director, this position will report directly to the Chief Executive, developing and implementing new strategies to take the company forward. This individual will build a best-in-class finance function that supports robust and efficient operations; maximising business performance through the provision of sound financial and commercial support. Improve accounting procedures and standards, KPIs and the use of the ERP system, stock management, budgeting and forecasting. The candidate will have successfully led core finance functions including control, reporting, tax, treasury, risk management, budgeting and planning, financial analysis, management reporting and audit committee interactions.
