The Client Green Park are partnering a renowned UK Leading household multi-brand retailer through an exciting expansion within one of their leading brands by appointing a Chief Information Officer to handle a technology separation programme. The Assignment Our client wishes to separate this leading brand from the larger portfolio of brands and give it the assistance it requires to operate as a standalone business unit. This role would suit a strongly established operational CIO with a proven background across large multi-site retail practises, ideally you will have experience of organisational integration / separation from retail technology systems. Our client - a leading central government department - are looking to hire a deputy Interim IT and Security Director for a period of 6-9 months.

The Interim Assignment
The deputy interim IT and Security Director will assist the director in being responsible on a day to day basis for IT, accommodation, knowledge management and security. This role will also lead on the new IT contract and work with the organisation’s delivery partners to ensure key milestones are met. The organisation is also in the process of refurbishing an office and this role will have a major input into coordinating the heavy demands that will be placed on the organisation.
The successful candidate will be judged on advising the Director of IT and Security on a new directorate structure, review of contractual arrangements, provision of leadership, development of an overarching IT strategy and replacement of an IP telephone system. This role will be to support the leadership of a team of 50 across 2 geographical areas and therefore will require occasional travel but will primarily be based in London.
