The Client Green Park has been appointed by a renowned FMCG and Medical company to assist with the merger of a new acquisition by establishing a direct product sourcing / manufacturing within a medical environment, ideally we will be sourcing from Asia. The Interim Assignment The Interim Product Sourcing / Manufacturing Director would partner the executive leadership team across the business creating a direct product sourcing from manufactures for medical devices and pharma products. At present our client uses a third party provider however this is something we are looking to remove. The Interim Manager The appointed individual will need to have extensive product manufacturing and sourcing experience within medical devices and pharmaceutical products from Asia markets to be considered. You will need to display deep gravitas whilst acting in a highly entrepreneurial manor to complement the environment. Our client is a Local Authority in the East of England.

The Interim Assignment:

As part of a £10m savings programme in adult social care for 2015/16, they are looking for an expert to join to lead on the delivery of savings in Older People Services and Health Integration from a commissioning perspective. This is in anticipation of Better Care Fund implementation and the Care Act. We are specifically looking for an interim who is an experienced Commissioning Manager in both adult social care from a Local Authority perspective and health.

The Interim Manager:

It is essential that candidates have extensive and recent experience of managing commissioning for Older People Services with a proactive and commercial approach to commissioning services that both meet the increasing demands of service users and enable the Authority to meet its financial savings targets. You may be a qualified social worker by professional background but this is by no means essential. However you will be currently operating at this level in a Local Authority Older People Services commissioning setting and be readily available for a 12 month assignment.

The Client:

Our client is a Local Authority in the East of England. As part of a £10m savings programme in adult social care for 2015/16, they are looking for an expert to join to lead on the re-procurement of a number of adult social care services.

The Assignment:

Specifically there is the re-procurement of a number of services such as Extra Care and Domiciliary Care. This is a hands on Category Management role that requires recent, proven expertise in the procurement or re-procurement of a wide range of adult social care services within a Local Authority context. You will need to demonstrate strong understanding of both the services and the provider market and be experienced in the hands on delivery of re-procurement exercises.

The Interim Manager:

We are looking for two individuals to join the team for anything up to 12 months.It is essential that candidates have recent, significant experience in a Local Authority setting of the procurement or re-procurement (from end to end) of adult social care services. We are not in a position to consider applications from interim managers who do not already have this experience. You may be CIPS qualified but that is not essential, although you will have a procurement background rather than a service-led background. Evidence of strong contract management and commercial negotiations with providers is essential.

The candidate will be expected to provide expert advice on the standard NHS contract; identify and lead innovative contracting models including the development of quality incentive schemes.
