Our client is a leading group of CCGs which is looking to appoint an interim Director of Commissioning for a period of 4-6 months.
The Interim Assignment
The interim Director of Commissioning will be responsible for holding brief on the commissioning agenda on behalf of the Accountable Officer, providing senior support to the partnership agenda, providing strategic support on the non elective/ urgent care commissioning agenda and providing direct managerial support to the teams. This role will not encompass contracting as the function is currently housed in the CSU but the interim will be expected to provide senior support to the urgent care board, ensure QIPP delivery is on track, improve the commissioning of end of life care, manage the prescribing team and contribute to the development of the 5 year strategy.
The Interim Manager
The successful Interim Director of Commissioning must have held a senior commissioning role within a CCG / PCT and will have demonstrable experience of delivering and developing commissioning strategy. Applicants that cannot demonstrate this experience will unfortunately will not be considered due to the specialist nature of the role.
Our client is a large Local Authority based in the Home Counties, with ambitious plans for joint working across all health and social care partners for the effective commissioning of adult care and health services. The role reports to the Assistant Director and the key requirements are: • To lead and develop strategic commissioning for Adult Social Care and Health, resulting in the provision of high quality, cost effective services. To develop the systems and processes for measuring standards and quality of commissioning and in-house regulated and non-regulated services. • To ensure the Directorate has effective commissioning plans, strategic and business planning processes, needs analyses and change management processes to deliver high quality, modernised services that meet the needs of our citizens and our statutory obligations. • To ensure health and social care partnership working across all services is fully developed, and that appropriate governance arrangements are put in place and supported. • Lead on strategic planning, policy analysis, performance and commissioning advice and ensure the effective development and delivery of business strategies to support competitive and high quality services to the people in the Borough. • Lead and advise on performance planning, management systems and processes ensuring coherent links between business performance planning, financial planning and workforce planning. • Ensure efficient and effective strategic commissioning and service development for the delivery of quality services for individuals within the designated area of service, making innovations and improvements and keeping ahead of a changing agenda. • Co-ordinate the development of staff and their effectiveness through training and regular supervision, and ensure that the appraisal system is fully implemented through the use of the National Occupational Standards for Commissioning competencies and skills. • Achieve an efficient and effective delivery of service through the management of people, taking responsibility for the formal operation of the Council’s policies and procedures on personnel related matters, e.g. recruitment, grievance, disciplinary etc. • Undertake continuous service improvement; demonstrate efficiency, value for money and work corporately to ensure the shaping of the care market takes account of the needs of the entire local population. • Make a significant contribution to planning the future, the development of strategic plans, public health population profiles and demographic changes and change management across the whole care sector • Advise and brief the Assistant Director, Directorate Management team Executive Member and other local ward Councillors Members when instructed , GP Clinical Commissioning Groups, Health and Well Being Boards, Overview and Scrutiny Committee on strategic commissioning and performance issues within services. • Responsible for effective and efficient management of associated commissioning budgets Candidates need to be available to start a 6 month, full time interim assignment in February. You will have extensive leadership expertise in adult social care commissioning, gained at either second or third tier in a Local Government setting.

The Interim Manager
The successful Interim Capital Planning & Management Director will be self-motivated, a fast learner and focused on delivering accurately to tight deadlines, working well under pressure. You must have extensive experience working in a financial service organisations doing a similar role.
Green Park has been exclusively instructed to assist one of the UK’s leading retail groups through an exciting journey of change within their portfolio of brands. The client is already a market leader throughout multiple brands within their portfolio however they have noticed that they are still missing a core potential customer that their current portfolio doesn’t perfectly cater for, with this in mind instead of diluting one of their established brands they are embarking on the creation of a new brand to take on this challenge. Green Park has been asked to source an Interim Commercial Trading Director to join this team and help launch the brand over the coming 6 months to a year. The role will handle the initial brand launch in the coming months before then growing the brand throughout the European markets. We require an established Interim Commercial Trading Director with a thorough background throughout buying, merchandising and e-commerce within a general merchandise environment to take on this challenge. You will need to be proven within digital / e-commerce marketing channels with a good understanding of PPC, SEO, Display, CRM etc in addition experience within European markets would be beneficial. May I stress this is a general merchandise role covering apparel, home ware, electronics, DIY etc a luxury brands / fashion or beauty background would not be suffice. Only applicants that meet the above criteria and in particular have proven merchandising experience will be considered for this role.
Our Client is a central London Local Authority in the midst of implementing a Managed Services Programme (MSP) which has resulted in the decision to outsource a shared service for Finance, HR, Payroll and Procurement. The programme is in the implementation phase following a successful procurement.
The Interim Assignment
Reporting to the MSP Programme Manager, the Interim Transition Manager will be responsible for the successful management of the Transition/Cutover phase of the MSP Programme. The interim Transition Manager shall work with the programme workstream leads to plan in detail and manage the successful transition to the new Managed Service, including the cutover activities for Go-live. The Interim Manager
The Interim Transition Manager will possess the following essential skills: • Knowledge and experience of all aspects of the systems delivery lifecycle, with a focus on Transition Management; • Knowledge and experience of the delivery of large-scale systems implementation and transition to managed service programmes; • Excellent Stakeholder Management skills; • Formal management skills (e.g. PRINCE 2); • Degree educated. The following work experience: • Proven track record of Transition Management of large-scale systems implementations; • At least five years Transition Management experience. The following are also desirable: • Experience of working with Local Authorities (preferred) or quasi-government organisations; • Familiarity with Agresso product set, or similar; • Familiarity with ITIL;
Our client, Bedfordshire CCG plan, organise and purchase NHS funded health care for 440,000 people and in doing so deliver real improvements in safety, outcomes and experience for our patients. We are looking to recruit to the post of Director of Contracting and Performance.
This post will play a key role in developing all areas of the contracting function ensuring that key processes and systems and governance arrangements are fit for purpose.
