The Client
Green Park is exclusively partnering a household high-street retailer with their continued journey and brand re-positioning with the appointment of an Interim Marketing Director reporting into the global group function.

The Assignment
The Interim Marketing Director would suit a strongly established retail Marketing Director with a proven background within fashion and apparel across either the UK and I or greater EMEA. The role will be in place for circa 12 months to develop a deep understanding and analysis of their target customer, owning this process for the region to ensure the customer is represented at all levels. The Interim Manager

The Role

The Person
Required skills / knowledge / experience:

Green Park is partnering with a renowned global Private Equity firm with the establishment of one of their new propositions - the creation of a new high street retailer, with a circa of 25 to 75 stores within apparel.

The Interim Assignment
We require an established, hands on SME Finance Director who has a proven career within retail, preferably high street apparel.  The Interim Finance Director will be joining a newly established team who have been put in place by the global Private Equity firm with the intention of creating a new apparel brand to hit the British high-street.  This role will be incredibly hands on and will require your assistance in the creation of a new company and new retail stores.  This role will cover the end to end finance from statutory to commercial, along with the creation of a new finance team and systems.

The Interim Manager
The successful Interim Finance Director will need to be dedicated and display similar experience in an incredibly hands on position in business’s with a circa £50 to £150 million per year turnover.  Ideally you will have exposure of Private Equity and the pressures that come with this.  You will be a smart, creative, compelling and driven. You will not be afraid to lead others past their comfort zone(s) and be able to create a sense of urgency. The Interim Assignment
We require an Interim Sales and Marketing Director (Turnaround and Restructuring) to join a newly established programme team who are being appointed with the challenge of completing a European business review, country by country of failing units in need of turn around / restructuring. You will be working with the senior leadership team of each country, creating an end to end business review and then after successfully completing the review you will then enter a recommendation, design and implementation of a turnaround model that will dynamically restructure the environment to balance competing priorities, including closely managing liquidity, anticipating unforeseen risks and opportunities, and communicating with key constituents.

The Interim Manager
You will need to be an expert in B2B Sales and Marketing within the service environment delivering best practice, with an abundance of exposure within turnaround / restructuring environments. You will have gained this exposure through tenure at a leading B2B European organisation either within technology, telecommunications or wider business to business sales.  In addition, it would be heavily beneficial if you’ve had Private Equity or Management Consultancy exposure prior.  As a turnaround professional you will need to demonstrate a practical, results-oriented mind-set that understands that, in these situations, failure is not an option.  This role is pan-European, therefore you will constantly be travelling Monday to Friday. Ideally, you will be multi-lingual within European languages, however this is not a necessity, but Spanish/German will be looked upon favourably.

Our client is a large Local Authority in the south west of the country. The role covers the full range of Legal and Democratic Services and is also the Monitoring Officer.

The Interim Assignment
As well as managing the services on a day to day basis, a significant element of the interim Assistant Director, Legal and Democratic Services role will be involved in working closely with the most senior politicians and officers in the Council on embedding new constitutional arrangements that has recently been passed, streamlining scrutiny, changing the way Full Council operates and leading on a boundary review.

The Interim Assignment
The Interim IT Director will be responsible for bringing together the work of a range of local and national stakeholders to put in place a coordinated strategy and programme plan and drive its delivery. The aspiration is to design and build a ‘centre of excellence’ in ICT that can provide an ‘intelligent customer’ function on behalf of key stakeholders. Putting in place a delivery model for a long-term central capability will need to achieved in parallel to driving the delivery of a number of small projects to demonstrate benefits and test business models.

The Interim Manager
The Interim IT Director will be a high-performing Director with a proven track record in the delivery of complex change management programmes, ideally in the context of the use of technology to meet customer needs in complex markets. An individual with the imagination, standing and drive to establish a new company, develop reliable revenues, reduce the cost of IT and help deliver the technology services that a modern workforce needs. The Interim IT Director will have experience of an arms-length public body which they can combine with commercial expertise to bring entrepreneurship and innovation to the IT market. The Director will need experience in start-up companies, have demonstrable skills at overcoming the risks of failure and have the acumen to head off problems early and ensure a viable marketing strategy and business plan.
