Green Park are looking to recruit for an Interim Chief Commercial Officer to work for a French Retail Bank.
The Interim Assignment
As the Interim Chief Commercial Officer, you will report directly into the CEO and have direct accountability for all elements of the businesses commercial success whilst ensuring governance, regulatory controls and targets are met. Working across Retail Distribution, Multi – Channel, Partnerships, and Marketing, accountabilities will include:
• Delivering Business goals and targets, ensuring that they are aligned to the overall strategy
• Sponsoring and delivering key projects
• Defining, developing and building alternative channels to market as well new partnerships
• Optimisation of the retail environment – process and infrastructure
• Deputising for the CEO when necessary
The Interim Manager
The ideal candidate should possess:
• Knowledge of the French Retail banking market and distribution network is key
• Track record in providing clear direction on strategic goals and prioritising them into business performance measures
• Significant experience in managing a commercial retail business in a multinational context coupled with a good knowledge of the commercial and regulatory environments in France
Green Park is currently partnering with the Civil Service Resourcing Team, Government Departments and related agencies to deliver a wide-ranging, integrated HR recruitment campaign to identify and attract talented HR professionals to strengthen and build on the capability of the HR profession within Government.
The roles will be ideal for those who seek the kind of corporate leadership and professional stretch that only a career in the Civil Service can offer. The Dstl is a Trading Fund Agency owned by the Ministry of Defence, serving customers in MOD and a wide range of Government Departments and Agencies. It provides science and technology advice and services to solve defence and security problems. The HR Director is a key member of the Senior Leadership team and responsible for all aspects of HR strategy and delivery. Supported by a team of 50 people, they provide HR services across the Dstl business of around 4,000 employees and with a turnover of £600m. It operates from three core sites in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Kent.
The individual will be qualified CIPD with proven experience of leading an HR function which contributes to the organisation’s effectiveness through provision of high quality HR services. They will have experience of successfully tackling difficult HR issues and developing and delivering innovative HR policies. The ability to network effectively with HR colleagues across Government is also an important aspect of this role.
